Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer has confirmed he will return for his 15th NFL season.

There had been speculation the 37-year-old could call time on his career but Palmer has dismissed those suggestions and insisted he is looking forward to preparing for the new NFL campaign.

"My intention was to take some time after the season to get away and see where I was physically and mentally," Palmer said in a statement.
