Stefon Diggs scored a 61-yard touchdown in the final seconds to see the Minnesota Vikings beat the New Orleans Saints 29-24 in an incredible finish to their NFC divisional playoff game on Sunday.

Trailing 24-23, with 10 seconds to go. Diggs made the catch from Case Keenum's throw at the New Orleans 34-yard line, spun away from Saints safety Marcus Williams and then raced untouched into the endzone, sparking scenes of wild celebration in Minnesota.

The Saints had grabbed a one-point lead with 25 seconds left off Wil Lutz's 43-yard field goal, answering a 53-yarder from Vikings kicker Kai Forbath that had given the home side the lead a minute earlier.

Minnesota had led 17-0 deep into the third quarter after a nightmare first half for New Orleans, in which quarterback Drew Brees was intercepted twice.

Jerick McKinnon scored on a 14-yard TD run on Minnesota's opening possession, while Forbath upped that their lead to 10 with a 20-yard field goal later in the first quarter.

Following Brees' first interception, the Vikings scored another touchdown following the turnover, with Latavius Murray getting into the endzone from a yard out.

Brees and the Saints were much-improved in the second half, starting their comeback late in the third quarter when the veteran QB found Michael Thomas for a 14-yard TD.

Brees and Thomas then hooked up again for a three-yard score early in the fourth, six plays after Williams intercepted Case Keenum.

Following a further Forbath field goal for the Vikings, this one from 49 yards out, the Saints took their first lead of the day with three minutes left as Brees found Alvin Kamara in the endzone for a 14-yard TD.

The two teams then traded field goals in the final two minutes before the late drama from Diggs clinched a trip for the Vikings to Philadelphia in the NFC Championship game next Sunday.
