New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson could face NFL discipline after being arrested in Florida on Friday.
Anderson was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving, evading police and threatening a public servant after he initially failed to yield during a traffic stop.
According to police records, the traffic stop came after Anderson was noticed driving at 105mph in a 45mph zone at 2.15am
He was eventually released from jail on Friday afternoon but, because of the additional charges following the stop, Anderson faces the possibility of two felonies and two misdemeanours.
He was also arrested last May for allegedly pushing a police officer at an event in Miami.
"We are aware of the situation," a Jets spokesman said. "This is a pending legal matter and we will have no further comment."
Anderson led Jets receivers with 941 yards and seven touchdowns last season, only his second in the NFL.
