Fantasy NFL: Five tight-ends for your team

Thanks to the prowess of two players on this list, there has never been a better time for tight ends to get picked higher up on draft boards.

Jimmy Graham and Rob Gronkowski are well ahead of the pack at the postition, although Antonio Gates' suspension shows us that we can't simply bet on the reliable options.

Alex Ferguson has rated the top five TEs for your Fantasy team.

5. Travis Kelce - Kansas City Chiefs

Kelce's slightly under the radar – 2014 comprised of 67 receptions, 862 yards and five touchdowns. With wide receiver Jeremy Maclin added to cause some added troubles in the secondary, Kelce could have a bumper year in 2015 - if quarterback Alex Smith does his job properly.

4. Jordan Cameron - Miami Dolphins

This was the best offensive signing Miami made in the off-season. Cameron's numbers with the Cleveland Browns last campaign – and we can blame this squarely on a string of awful quarterbacking situations – belied just how talented he is.

With Ryan Tannehill in Miami, he's got a better quarterback, and this could mean an explosion on the upside from 2014's digits of 424 yards and two TDs.

3. Greg Olsen (Carolina Panthers)

Some fans may think that Carolina's offense is going to be about quarterback Cam Newton and Olsen, who caught 84 passes for 1,008 yards and eight TDs last year, which was his career high. I expect those numbers to get even higher in 2015.

2. Jimmy Graham (Seattle Seahawks)

Bearing in mind Seattle have a truly competent running back in Marshawn Lynch, it seems obvious that Graham is probably not going to see the same magical production numbers that he had in New Orleans.

Still, his arrival in Seattle has made him the best receiver on that team by some miles so expect his TD numbers to go back up after a relatively poor 2014.

1. Rob Gronkowski (New England Patriots)

If the Tom Brady suspension holds up, back-up QB Jimmy Garoppolo will need a safe pair of hands.

'Gronk' might own those hands – last season he caught 82 balls for 1,124 yards and 12 TDs, including three games of more than 100 yards, winning him a NFL Comeback Player of The Year award, a first-team All-Pro Selection and a Super Bowl ring.
