Cam Newton, Von Miller and Odell Beckham Jr are all easy picks but who else shone brightly this season in the NFL and went under the radar?
It's that time of the year when we look back on the season that was, Denver and their defence won Super Bowl 50, while as expected Cam Newton took the MVP award at the NFL Honours show in San Francisco on the eve of the big game.
But there was plenty to remember from the rest of the season, so we asked Super Bowl XXXIV winner Torry Holt for his take the players who performed when their team needed it most. The former St Louis Rams wide receiver came up with six that caught his eye and we've added some of their season highlights.
You can pull up any Julio Jones clip - they are fascinating.
He is fast, big, can catch, can run, can block. He does it all at the wide receiver position. He is someone that sticks out to me.
Russell had a phenomenal year. With Marshawn Lynch being in and out of the line-up, they had to rely on Russell Wilson's legs and his arm.
He threw for more than 4000 yards, 34 touchdowns - he had a great year, particularly the second half of the season when he and Doug Baldwin got on a real hot streak.
I credit Larry because he went from being the outside receiver to now playing in the slot and handling a lot of the blocking duties.
He had a really good year and a really good post season and he continued his post-season streak of consecutive catches and receiving yards (Fitzgerald remains the only player to average a touchdown catch and 100+ receiving yards per post-season game).
