Victoria Pendleton missed out on a planned spin in a point-to-point on Sunday when her intended mount, According to Sarah, was withdrawn.

Trainer Alan Hill was not happy with the eight-year-old mare on Sunday morning and consequently took her out of the Dunston Harriers fixture at Ampton in Suffolk.

However, Pendleton, who made her point-to-point debut in November, is still expected to ride at Black Forest Lodge in Devon in a week's time on January 17.

"Alan Hill wasn't happy when he pulled the horse out this morning so According Too Sarah was withdrawn," said Barry Orr, of Betfair, who are backing Pendleton's 'Switching Saddles' project with the ambition of riding in the Foxhunters' Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.

"He said the horse was a bit peaky in herself so Victoria has no mount this weekend. However, it will be systems go for next weekend. She'll probably go to Black Forest Lodge."
