The Robins welcome their local rivals to New Craven Park following back-to-back defeats which have seen the slip to seventh in the Super League standings.
Rovers coach Craig Sandercock has made just two changes to the squad which were unlucky to suffer a 21-16 defeat at the hands of Wigan Warriors last time out.
Prop Mickey Paea misses out, with back row George Griffin included for what is expected to be a fiercely contested match.
Demolishing
Outside back Omari Caro is back in Sandercock's 19-man selection while Lincoln Withers will not feature in the Round 24 clash.
After registering their biggest win of the season last weekend by demolishing Widnes 72-10 at the KC Stadium, Hull FC are just two points below their arch rivals in eighth.
Peter Gentle's side scored 12 tries on their way to victory as well as nine goals from Danny Tickle and the forward expects more of the same from his teammates.
"I think that performance against Widnes had been coming," Tickle told the club's official website.
Timely
"We stuck to the game plan, ground the first 20 minutes out when we knew Widnes were going to come at us and our defence was good again."
There is only one change to the side which prevailed in such empathic style, with prop Andy Lynch missing out on the travelling party as 25-year-old Paul Johnson makes a return.
Hull's victory over the Vikings was a timely one, ending a run of six consecutive Super League defeats for Gentle's team.
Rovers enter the crunch encounter with three wins in the pair's five previous meetings, but it was Sunday's visitors who prevailed in the return fixture back in May.
