Catalans Dragons have continued to strengthen ahead of the 2017 season by signing English prop Luke Burgess on a two-year deal.
Having announced the signing of Iain Thornley on Monday, the Perpignan side have now added the experienced Burgess, who returned to Super League this year after a stint in Australia.
The 29-year-old began his career with Leeds Rhinos, where he won two Super League titles and a World Club Challenge.
He went on to represent South Sydney Rabbitohs and Manly Sea Eagles in the NRL, before signing for Salford on a short-term contract ahead of the Super 8's last season.
Burgess is the older brother of new England captain Sam Burgess and the pair played alongside their twin brothers George and Tom for South Sydney three years ago.
He has now agreed on a move to continental Europe and said: "I am delighted to have signed for the Catalans Dragons and to be returning to play in the European Super League.
"The club has a very talented playing squad and for much of last season looked to be on course for at least a top four place in the Super League, at the same time playing a very attractive brand of rugby league football.
"I am very excited at the prospect of doing what I can over the next two seasons to bring success to the club and their supporters."
Dragons Head coach Laurent Frayssinous said: "Luke will bring top level Super League and NRL experience to our squad next season.
"He will add size and will strengthen our pack, offensively and defensively. He loves France and has the perfect pedigree, on and off the field."
Burgess is the third confirmed signing for the Dragons, who earlier on Tuesday announced the departure of former Australia internationals Todd Carney and Dave Taylor, taking the total number of players exiting the Gilbert Brutus Stadium into double figures.
