It was a second week without a win for Wigan, who were narrowly beaten by Hull on Friday night, and the Warriors' spot at the top of the table was taken by Castleford who thrashed the Dragons on Sunday.
Elsewhere, Leeds continued their upward swing with victory over Huddersfield, while Warrington remain without a win after losing out to St Helens to make it six consecutive losses in Super League XXII.
Wakefield fought back to beat Leigh, and Salford demolished the Vikings in Widnes to go fifth in the standings.
