Hull FC teenager Jordan Abdull has been handed a new two-year contract after making an impressive start to his Super League career.
The 17-year-old stand-off has played in the Airlie Birds' last seven matches and is determined to continue his development after committing himself to the club until the end of the 2016 season.
“I am really happy to be tied down at the club for a few more years, obviously I managed to make my debut in the first team this season, and I am looking to make more progress in the pre-season and make more appearances next year,” Abdull told the club's official website.

“My run in the first team has certainly made me feel I am a better player than what I thought I was, but still I know that I am now where near the likes of Garth Ellis yet, who is somebody that I can look up to every day in training.
“He has been playing at such a high level for years where as I have only played six or seven games, likewise with Richard Horne, I mean I can’t look any further for an idol than him, especially in my position.
“So this is a deal that I am looking to build on for years to come.”
Hull have also handed new two-year deals to four of Abdull's academy team-mates, Jack Logan, Brad Fash, Jack Downs and Jansin Turgut.
