France dealt Bosc blow

A leg injury has ruled Thomas Bosc out of the France team to play England at Leigh on Saturday, live on Sky Sports.

Goulding forced to make changes, sweating over fitness of Pelo

France will have to do without Thomas Bosc for Saturday's Gillette Fusion international against England, which is live on Sky Sports. The Catalans Dragons captain suffered a leg injury during his side's 24-6 Super League defeat to Hull KR on Sunday. While the rest of his international team-mates are now in a training camp in Bury, Bosc has returned to France for scans on the problem. France coach Bobbie Goulding is also sweating over the fitness of Dimitri Pelo, who sustained a dead leg against the Robins at Craven Park.

Missing men

"Thomas is definitely out and we're working intensely on Dimitri, who is 50-50 at this stage," said Goulding. "We're without 10 players from last year's Four Nations but you've just got to get on with it. You have to play the cards you're dealt." Goulding had already lost Catalans winger Cyril Stacul and Lezignan centre Michael Tribbilac, who was one of four new faces named in the original squad, last week. Nicolas Piquemal (Lezignan) and Yoan Tisseyre (Toulouse) have been called up to replace the duo for the mid-season fixture at Leigh. Bosc's place has now gone to fellow half-back Nicolas Munoz, one of three representatives from French domestic champions Lezignan. Revised 20-man France squad (Catalans unless stated): A Bentley, R Casty, V Duport (Toulouse), O Elima (capt), J Fakir, D Ferriol, T Gigot, C Gossard, M Griffi (Toulouse), N Munoz (Lezignan), G Mounis, D Pelo, N Piquemal (Lezignan), F Quintilla (Lezignan), S Raguin, M Simon, Y Tisseyre (Toulouse), J Touxagas, F Vaccari, C Villegas (Toulouse).
