Former Man of Steel Pat Richards is returning to Super League next year with the Catalans Dragons.
The Wigan great, who returned to Australia's NRL to join West Tigers last year, has agreed a two-year contract with the France-based club.
He said: “I’m excited about coming back to the Super League and the new challenge of playing for the Catalans Dragons.
“My family and I are also excited about living in and being a part of the French culture.”
Richards, 33, won two Super League titles and two Challenge Cups during eight years with Wigan, winning the Man of Steel Award in 2010 after scoring 434 points.
The specialist goal-kicker has racked up almost 3,000 points in 15 seasons in NRL and Super League.
Dragons head coach Laurent Frayssinous said: "I’m delighted with the signing of Pat Richards. We were looking for a player with a great experience, and, with more than 300 Super League and NRL appearances, he will help the team, especially the young players we have coming through like Fouad Yaha.
“His ratio of tries per game proves he is a prolific try scorer and his place kicking is second to none.”
