Hull KR head coach Craig Sandercock has no qualms slotting Greg Eden back in at full-back following the conclusion on his loan spell at Salford.
Eden was allowed to join the Red Devils on loan in order to work on facets of his game and make the former Huddersfield Giant a better all-round player.
The 23-year-old is now back at the KC Lightstream Stadium and with Ben Cockayne, who had been playing full-back recently, sidelined he is set to regain his spot for Friday’s visit of Warrington Wolves.
Sandercock has been pleased with Eden’s form and work ethic in training since returning from the AJ Bell Stadium and is happy giving him an early chance to impress.
"I am confident Greg can come in and carry on where Ben left off," Sandercock told the Hull Daily Mail.
"We're lucky in that we didn't have a game last weekend and he was in his car to us straight away and training straight away.
"I've been really impressed with him in the week and a half he's been back. He's raring to play and has improved the areas I've asked him to work on.
"Looking at him in training I feel he is slowly getting to where he needs to be. There were a few technical issues he needed to work on but I won't bore you with them."
