Phil Clarke looks back on a thrilling weekend of Super League action and picks his five favourite tries.
First up are two tries from Thursday's semi-final at the Halliwell Jones Stadium where Warrington defeated St Helens.
Jonny Lomax finished off a superb team move which was sparked by a fantastic break and pass by Jordan Turner, but the Wolves had the final say as Tom Lineham crossed in the corner on 64 minutes to clinch their place in the Grand Final.
When John Bateman reacted quickest to Matty Smith's charged-down kick and weaved through the Hull defence to slide underneath the posts, Wigan were cruising towards Old Trafford.
But Hull FC produced a stirring comeback and took the lead with 17 minutes remaining, and the Warriors had to produce a strong finish to book a fourth successive Grand Final appearance.
The drama continued as the KC Lightstream Stadium on Saturday in what was an incredible finish to the Million Pound Game.
Trailing 18-10 with time almost up, Salford looked dead and buried but wingers Niall Evalds and Greg Johnson crossed for two tries in as many minutes to force extra-time, and Gareth O'Brien's stunning long-range drop-goal secured their Super League status.
The 2016 Super League season reaches its climax on Saturday when Warrington Wolves face Wigan Warriors in the Grand Final at Old Trafford. Coverage begins on Sky Sports 1 HD at 5pm.
