Second row makes the switch from Leeds

Castleford have announced that they have signed second rower Weller Hauraki from Leeds on a two-year contract. The 27-year-old former Parramatta forward is in his second season with the Rhinos, having joined from Crusaders, but he did not make it into their Challenge Cup final team. Tigers head coach Ian Millward said: "I was on the look-out for a second rower with a strong presence both on and off the field and I believe Weller offers the right qualities to fulfil this role. "His experience and exceptional attacking qualities will provide us with great stability and composure on the field, as well as a role model for the younger, less-experienced players on the team. "He ultimately gives us an overall package that is going to add a lot to the side next season. I look forward to working with him." Millward has now made seven signings for 2013, Lee Gilmour, Michael Shenton, Jake Webster, Jamie Ellis, Jordan Tansey and Justin Carney being the others.
