The top-seeded Serb won 6-1 7-5 in 81 minutes to set up a title decider against Caroline Garcia of France.
Jankovic broke serve three times in the opener, as she won six games in a row after losing the first in Bogota.
In a much-closer second set, the 29-year-old world No 9 served for the match at 5-3 only for the unseeded world No 79 to level matters at 5-5.
However, Jankovic sealed the win by securing her sixth break of the contest in game 12 on her only match point.
It was Jankovic's fourth straight-sets triumph in as many days. She now faces the No 5 seed Garcia who outplayed American Vania King 6-2 6-4.
"It was a good match today," Garcia told the WTA Tour's official website.
"I stayed aggressive the whole match and finished strong in the end, and I'm feeling really good about my game at the moment."
