Belgium to announce Davis Cup final venue

Belgium will announce the venue for the Davis Cup final against Great Britain on Wednesday.

Belgium booked their place in the final - which will take place from November 27-29 - by beating Argentina 3-2, while Britain beat Australia 3-2 in Glasgow.

Belgium were given home advantage because the last time the two teams met, Britain were the hosts.

Ghent's Flanders Expo Centre is favourite to host the event. Its biggest hall can host 13,000 fans - 10 per cent of those tickets would be sold to British supporters.

Other alternatives are the 23,000-capacity Sportpaleis in Antwerp and Palais12 in Brussels, which can accommodate 18,000.

The Belgians are likely to choose a drop-in clay court - Andy Murray's least favourite surface.
