Nick Kyrgios nearly let his temper boil over in win over Andreas Haider-Maurer in Shanghai

Nick Kyrgios complained angrily about the ball boys during his straight sets win over Andreas Haider-Maurer at the Shanghai Masters.
The controversial Australian was disciplined for his foul-mouthed antics at the recent Japan Open and his temper nearly boiled over again, despite a 6-3 6-2 win over the Austrian.
Kyrgios called for the umpire to intervene after the ball boys appeared to move and talk while the match was ongoing and he later complained about the slow delivery of balls.
At the weekend, the 20-year-old sparked fresh controversy when he swore loudly and hit a ball into the roof during a quarter-final defeat by Benoit Paire, earning his latest code violation.
Making his first appearance since that loss, the Aussie seized a break in the opening game and quickly opened a one-set lead.
Kyrgios completed a comfortable win over Haider-Maurer to set up a second-round clash with world No 6 Kei Nishikori.
"Kei's one of the best players in the world right now," said Kyrgios. "He's got unbelievable returns. He's a great athlete. He's playing well. So I know what I have to do."
He was joined in the next stage by 13th seed John Isner, who cruised to a 6-1 6-2 win over Adrian Mannarino, while Ivo Karlovic also progressed with a 6-4 7-6 win over Jeremy Chardy.
But world No 27 Andreas Seppi bowed out after a 4-6 6-1 7-6 defeat by Steve Johnson.
