Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic easily continued their progress towards the French Open title with straight sets, second-round wins.
Nadal secured a 6-3 6-0 6-3 victory against the world No 99 Facundo Bagnis on Thursday, before Djokovic won 7-5 6-3 6-4 against world No 161 Steve Darcis.
Nadal, the Grand Slam's most successful player of the Open era, had already dispatched Sam Groth in straight sets and repeated the trick in his second outing of the week, further underlining his prowess on the clay courts that he has traditionally dominated.
World No 1 Djokovic is still aiming to claim a maiden French Open title to complete a career Grand Slam.
Dominic Thiem is also through after a 7-5 6-4 7-6 win against Guillermo García López.
