Sky Sports' Barry Cowan explains what Andy Murray needs to do to become the world No 1

Murray plays Martin Klizan in the first round on Wednesday as he guns for the 500 ATP points that would reduce Djokovic's lead to 1,915 at the top of the rankings. He could complete the job next week in Paris at the final Masters 1000 of the year if results go his way.

Djokovic is not playing at the Erste Bank Open so Murray, the top seed, will be the favourite to lift the trophy. His opener against Klizan is his first career date against the Slovakian player, who is ranked at No 35 in the world.
