Petra Kvitova recovery going well after having a successful operation on the hand injury she suffered in a knife attack last month.
The two-time Wimbledon champion suffered serious injuries to her left hand when an intruder entered her home in the Czech Republic.
Kvitova underwent nearly four hours of surgery on December 20 at a specialised clinic in her home in the town of Prostejov, the same day of the attack.
The 26-year-old's spokesman, Karel Tejkal, says she has gradually started doing exercises with her injured fingers and "all have been going according to the plans and expectations".
Kvitova, who won Olympic bronze at the 2016 Rio Olympics, is expected to be out for up to six months.
After the operation, her surgeon Radek Kebrle confirmed: "It's a serious injury and we have to deal with that accordingly. She's young and healthy. That's a good prognosis."
The world No 11's fellow players from the Prostejov tennis club have offered a reward of $3,850 for information leading to the arrest of the attacker, who still remains at large.
