The facial hair has sprouted on the upper lip of American star Johnson causing quite a debate on social media with many tennis aficionados getting involved.

Australian John Newcombe was tennis' original star who sported the Tash back in the 1970's, but 27-year-old Johnson has brought the look into the 21st century.
