WTA Shenzhen Open: Top seed Li Na booked her place in the last eight
Li Na eased into the quarter-finals of the Shenzhen Open with a 6-1 6-4 victory over Nadiya Kichenok of Ukraine.

The 31-year-old top seed required an hour and 23 minutes to see off her unheralded opponent at the Longgang Tennis Centre.
But while the top ranked player made it through, other seeds fell by the wayside.
American Vania King shocked second seed Sara Errani of Italy 2-6 7-6 6-3, while Patricia Mayr-Achleitner of Austria upset third seed Klara Zakopalova of the Czech Republic 7-6 6-4.
Elsewhere, Romania's Monica Niculescu came back from a set down to beat Taiwan's Chan Yung-jan 2-6 6-3 6-0, while Annika Beck saw off Viktorija Golubic 6-3 5-7 6-3.
Jana Cepelova was also a winner on the day, 6-4 6-1 over Anna-Lena Friedsam, while Barbora Zahlavova Strycova knocked out local player Jie Zheng 6-0 7-6 (8/6).
