Fabio Fognini pulled off an audacious 'Hot Dog' shot against Feliciano Lopez at the US Open, but still suffered a fourth round defeat.
The Italian produced the cheeky effort to claw back a point in the second set tie-break against Lopez at Flushing Meadows.
But he could not prevent the Spaniard from completing a 6-3 7-6 6-1 win to set up a quarter-final against Novak Djokovic or Roberto Bautista-Agut.
