Naomi Broady will break into the world's top 100 for the first time on Monday after winning the biggest title of her career in the United States.
The 25-year-old British No 3 defeated American Robin Anderson 6-7 6-0 6-2 to win the Dow Corning Tennis Classic in Michigan, one of the biggest tournaments on the second-tier ITF tour.
It was Broady's ninth ITF singles title and will see her join fellow Brits Johanna Konta and Heather Watson in the top 100, as she improves on her current 112th place ranking.
Broady's victory capped a fine day for British tennis, with Kyle Edmund beating Dan Evans 6-3 6-2 in Dallas in the first all-British Challenger final for more than a decade.
Her younger brother Liam also won an ITF Futures title in Glasgow with a 6-3 4-6 6-2 victory over Adrien Bossel, his first competition win of the year.
