An unlikely quarter-final line-up was completed at the Collector Swedish Open in Bastad on Thursday.

All the seeds were eliminated over the first three days of the tournament, presenting the remaining players with a big chance to win a WTA title.

World number 54 Kaia Kanepi is the highest-ranked player remaining and she eased into the last eight with a 6-3 6-1 victory over Richel Hogenkamp.

Kanepi next plays German Mona Barthel, a 6-4 3-6 6-4 winner over qualifier Gabriela Dabrowski, while Silvia Soler-Espinosa will meet Alexandra Panova.
