Real Madrid won their first league title for five years after beating Malaga 2-0 at La Rosaleda on Sunday, with Barcelona finishing second following their 4-2 win over Eibar.
"It was very important (to win the league). It was a lot of years without winning it and we knew that the league is everything," said Real head coach Zinedine Zidane afterwards.
