Everton v Arsenal – Saturday 23rd August, Sky Sports 1 (4:45pm)
Arsenal’s title credentials will be put to the test when they face Everton at 5.30pm on Saturday Night Football. Big things are expected of the Gunners following the signing of Alexis Sanchez, but they were on the wrong end of a heavy 3-0 defeat at Goodison Park just four months ago.
Hull City v Stoke City – Sunday 24th August, Sky Sports 1 (12:30pm)
Hull City’s ability to balance European football and the Premier League will come under scrutiny on Sunday when they welcome Stoke to the KC Stadium. The Tigers face Belgian outfit KSC Lokeren on Thursday before the Potters, who lost at home to Aston Villa last week, come to town.
Sunderland v Manchester United – Sunday 24th August, Sky Sports 1 (3:30pm)
Marcos Rojo is expected to go straight into the starting 11 when Manchester United face Sunderland on Sunday. United suffered the indignity of defeat against Swansea on the opening day and manager Louis van Gaal has bolstered his ranks with the versatile Argentine defender.
Manchester City v Liverpool – Monday 25th August, Sky Sports 1 (7pm)
Manchester City v Liverpool is the standout match from the Premier League weekend, but you’ll have to wait until Monday Night Football to see who reigns supreme. The title hopefuls both started the new season with a win and shared the spoils with a home win apiece from last season’s encounters.
Ipswich Town v Norwich City – Saturday 23rd August, Sky Sports 1 (12pm)
Meanwhile in the Championship, fierce rivals Ipswich Town and Norwich City meet for the first time since April 2011 at midday on Saturday. The Canaries left Portmand Road with a comprehensive 5-1 win that day and have started the new campaign with two wins and six goals.
Atletico Madrid v Real Madrid – Friday 22nd August, Sky Sports 5 (9.25pm)
Spanish football action gets underway on Friday night when Atletico and Real Madrid renew hostilities in the Supercopa de Espana. It’s all square at one goal apiece following Tuesday’s first leg and Real will look to Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez to make the difference if Cristiano Ronaldo is ruled out through injury.
8 live La Liga Games – Saturday 23rd – Monday 25th , Sky Sports 5
The new La Liga season returns to our screens this coming weekend with 8 games exclusively live on Sky Sports 5. Champions League hopefuls Athletic Bilbao travel to Malaga on Saturday before Europa League winners Sevilla host Valencia and Almeria host Espanyol. Then on Sunday, Eibar take on Sociedad from 6pm before Barcelona begin life under Luis Enrique’s stewardship against Elche at the Camp Nou at 8pm. That’s followed by Villarreal’s trip to Levante at 10pm. Then on Monday, both Madrid sides are again in action as Real take on Cordoba and Atletico travel to face Real Vallecano – action begins at 6.55pm.
Ajax v PSV Eindhoven - Sunday 24th August, Sky Sport 5 (3:30pm)
You can also see pacesetters Ajax and PSV battling for early season supremacy in the Eredivsie on Sky Sports 5 on Sunday. The Dutch giants have both started the new campaign with two wins out of two, but PSV haven’t savoured victory at the Amsterdam Arena since January 2008.

T20 Blast Finals Day – Saturday 23rd August, Sky Sports 2 (12pm)
Surrey, Hampshire, Lancashire and the Birmingham Bears have all fought their way to the showpiece of the domestic cricket season, T20 Blast Finals Day. Expect to witness three thrilling matches full of thunderous shots, skilful bowling and acrobatic catches.
New Zealand v Australia – Saturday 23rd August, Sky Sports 3 (8am)
New Zealand and Australia played out a tense 12-12 draw in Sydney last weekend and they meet again on Saturday, this time in Auckland. It was the first draw between the two rugby powerhouses in 12 years and ended the mighty All Blacks’ 17-match winning streak.
