AJ Styles started 2018 in the same way he started 2017 - wearing championship gold and top of the WWE mountain.
Things have not gone too swimmingly for Styles since the turn of the year, with successive defeats to Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn on the first two episodes of SmackDown being followed by the seemingly impossible situation of a two-against-one handicap match against them both for his WWE title at Royal Rumble.
But there can be few doubts that Styles is currently one of the best in the business. His performances in 2017 were enough for him to be voted Sky Sports viewers' wrestler of the year after a string of high-profile and excellent matches.
The high point of those - at least for British fans - arguably came at the episode of SmackDown in Manchester in November, when he dethroned Jinder Mahal for the WWE title, ending the Modern-Day Maharajah's six-month reign with the championship.
Styles is a competitor for whom the concept of the highlights reel was seemingly invented, and we've picked out 10 great moments from his WWE career so far.
