AJ Styles was challenged to a rematch by Chris Jericho after his submission victory over The Miz on WWE Smackdown.

Styles pinned Jericho in his first singles bout in WWE on the post-Royal Rumble edition of Raw, leaving the veteran determined to meet The Phenomenal One again.

Jericho proposed a second clash for next week's Smackdown, hot on the heels of Styles forcing The Miz, the man he scrapped with on MizTV on Monday evening, to tap out to the Calf Crusher.

Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, meanwhile, who will be opponents at WWE Fastlane, teamed up to defeat League of Nations stars Rusev and Alberto Del Rio, albeit not particularly smoothly.

Ambrose accidently took out Reigns earlier in the show after The Big Dog's singles encounter with Rusev had ended in disqualification when Del Rio and Barrett interfered, while the former Shield stars almost collided during their tag triumph when Ambrose dove outside the ring.

Elsewhere, Ryback was poleaxed by Braun Strowman after knocking off Erick Rowan, The New Day beat The Social Outcasts and Charlotte bested Alicia Fox with her Figure Eight Leglock.

Plus, United States Champion Kalisto recovered from being powerbombed into Dolph Ziggler at the commentary booth to pin Kevin Owens in a non-title scrap.
