Cesaro provided a taster of what may transpire at Money in the Bank when he unhooked the sought-after briefcase on WWE Smackdown.

The Swiss rushed to the ring after Dean Ambrose and Sami Zayn had beaten Kevin Owens and Alberto Del Rio in a tag-team scrap, upper-cutting Owens, climbing a ladder, and detaching the Money in the Bank holdall.

Owens had intended to do that himself, having seen his and Del Rio's chances of beating Ambrose and Zayn dashed when they suffered a breakdown in communication.

Del Rio accidently kicked The Prizefighter in the head, allowing Zayn to administer a Helluva Kick and secure victory for his team.

AJ Styles, who will go one-on-one with John Cena at Money in the Bank, bested Kofi Kingston in Smackdown's main event, The Phenomenal One prevailing courtesy of a Pele kick and a Styles Clash.

Becky Lynch defeated Charlotte by disqualification after the Women's Champion's ally Dana Brooke interfered, while The Dudley Boyz downed Golden Truth thanks to the presence of Breezango at ringside.

Plus, Rusev overcame Jack Swagger with The Accolade - and only released the hold when Titus O'Neil, who punched the Bulgarian in the face on Raw, emerged from the locker room.
