Jack Swagger jumps ship from Raw to Smackdown Live

The Miz refused to defend his Intercontinental Championship and Jack Swagger signed for the blue brand on another intriguing night on Smackdown Live.
The Miz successfully defended his title against Dolph Ziggler at Backlash on Sunday night when his wife, Maryse, sprayed The Show-Off with the contents of an aerosol.
However, instead of handing Ziggler a rematch, The Awesome One informed both his rival and Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan that he would not put his gold on the line until his contract had been renegotiated.
Swagger's contract with Monday Night Raw has expired - but the Real American was quick to ink a deal to join Smackdown, as he announced on Tuesday's show in Philadelphia.
Swagger - a former ECW, United States and World Heavyweight Champion - stared down Baron Corbin after the former NXT star had beaten up Apollo Crews before their bout could begin.
Corbin's assault prevented one Backlash rematch taking place - but another did occur, with The Usos battling the Hype Bros.
The Usos prevailed on Sunday and did so again on Smackdown - Jimmy raking Mojo Rawley's eyes before Jey finished him off with a Samoan Splash from the top rope.
Alexa Bliss won a Fatal Five-Way to become No 1 contender to Becky Lynch's Women's Title, pinning Nikki Bella after Carmella had whacked her with a Superkick in a match also featuring Natalya and Naomi.
Heath Slater signed the Smackdown contract he had earned after winning the blue-brand's Tag Team Titles with Rhyno at Backlash, only to be interrupted by The Ascension.
Konnor and Viktor requested a title shot against the new champions and were granted one by Smackdown commissioner Shane McMahon - but they lost when Rhyno Gored Viktor.
Plus, Randy Orton challenged Bray Wyatt to a match after the Eater of World's attack on him at Backlash left him unable to compete in their sanctioned encounter.
Wyatt then appeared and quickly disappeared as the lights flickered on and off, before his disciple Erick Rowan attacked Orton - The Viper responding with an RKO to the big bearded brawler.
