With Goldberg returning to the ring to face Brock Lesnar at WWE Survivor Series on Sunday, we've trawled through the archives to find some of his career highlights.
Between now and fight night we will be showing you short clips of Goldberg's best moments, with today's offering his debut on Monday Night Raw in March 2003.
Goldberg chose to interrupt The Rock - who had been crowing about beating "Stone Cold" Steve Austin at WrestleMania a night earlier - before laying him out with a spear.
The crowd in Seattle went wild as the former WCW star marmalised The Great One, a move that led to a singles clash between the two at the next pay-per-view, Backlash.
Goldberg came out on top in that tussle, too, after nailing two spears and a jackhammer - the powerhouse then moving onto a feud with Chris Jericho as The Rock headed for Hollywood.

WWE Survivor Series booking details
WWE Survivor Series will be shown live on Sky Sports Box Office (channel 491) and Sky Sports HD Box Office (channel 492) from midnight on Sunday, November 20 (Monday morning).
WWE Survivor Series will repeated on Sky Sports Box Office (channel 491) BUT NOT Sky Sports HD Box Office (channel 492) between 10am on Monday, November 21 and 10pm on Thursday, November 24.
WWE Survivor Series will cost £19.95 for viewers in the United Kingdom and €24.95 for customers in the Republic of Ireland, while a live blog of the event will run on skysports.com and the Sky Sports apps.
