Goldberg says he has extended his WWE career so that his family can see him wrestle.

The two-time world champion crushed Brock Lesnar in 86 seconds at Survivor Series in November in his first match in 12 years.

The 50-year-old's comeback was expected to be a one-off but he will now compete in Sunday's 30-Man Royal Rumble, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

"I think the reaction of my son, the reaction of my wife and the reaction of the crowd," Goldberg said when asked by sportingnews.com why he chose to delay his retirement.

"I'm greatly appreciative that anybody would ever know who I was back when I was doing my thing, let alone 12 years removed.

"I'm very humbled and it just makes me want to go out and work harder. [WWE Chairman] Vince McMahon has opened his doors and I'm back at home. It's a different experience this time.

"I have my family in tow with me now - I'd fly into a town, I'd do my work, I'd leave. Now it's an experience for my family.

"I feel like I'm a pretty cool dad to be able to do this for my son. It's really neat to watch them come along this journey that I've been on before."

Goldberg could renew hostilities with Lesnar - the man he also beat at WrestleMania XX in 2004 inside Madison Square Garden - on Sunday, with both men confirmed for the Royal Rumble Match.

However, the powerhouse says he is most looking forward to tackling The Undertaker, having never faced The Phenom in a bout.

The two did cross paths during the closing stages of Monday's episode of Raw, though, engaging in a staredown with each other and Lesnar.

"There's a couple of guys that I've never been in the ring with," Goldberg added. "I will be looking very much forward to introducing them to me.

"I will honestly say that [The Undertaker] is probably the one I'm looking forward to introducing myself to in the ring more than anyone.

"I knew him before he got in the business, we were friends before he started wrestling.

"It's amazing that we haven't been in the same ring together before."
