The build-up for Survivor Series has reached fever pitch this week - and that anticipation has extended to the world of social media.

The inter-brand rivalry - which reaches a head on Sky Sports Box Office on Sunday night - has led to an unprecedented wave of Twitter trash talk.

Members of the Raw roster invaded SmackDown live this week to devastating effect, and they've been keen to emphasise that fact on social media.

Here, we collect the best of the week's offering as both brands pump up the volume for the huge showdown in Houston.

The Raw roster were clearly keen to celebrate their all-out invasion of SmackDown, which left just about every member of the blue brand down and out.

But it's safe to say the invasion left a bitter taste in the mouths of several Tweeters from the blue side.

John Cena, a late call-up to the SmackDown team for the Survivor Series five-on-five elimination match, published a video to let everyone know he's in fighting shape going into the match.
