Stone Cold Steve Austin crashed the party and stunned Vince McMahon, after the WWE chairman showed his disgust for his commemorative 25-year plaque

One of the many great catchphrases during 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin's career was "arrive, raise hell, leave".

It was a modus operandi to which the Texas Rattlesnake was completely loyal when he returned to Monday Night Raw for their 25th-anniversary show in Brooklyn.

Having decided he had heard enough of Vince McMahon's complaining about the quality of the gift his offspring had presented to him to mark the occasion - a plaque in, as Stephanie pointed out, mahogany - the famous sound of breaking glass came over the speakers and Austin began his familiar walk to the ring.

What followed was perhaps quite predictable but that did not make it any less enjoyable as the Barclays Center crowd roared their delight.

Austin did not even have to say a single word on his return to WWE and yet still got the biggest reaction on a night filled with nostalgia to mark 25 years of the show.
