WrestleMania is heating up with the news that Daniel Bryan could be part of the event for the first time since he was forced to retire from in-ring competition back in 2016.
There are only two episodes of SmackDown and Raw before the biggest event of the year and most matches have started building or been officially announced, so the build-up is coming down to the wire.
Here are the stars who stood out this week.
Good week
Daniel Bryan (SmackDown)
There wasn't a dry eye in the house when Daniel Bryan announced that injuries had forced him to call time on his in-ring career in February 2016.
Since then Bryan has been pushing to make a return and has remained a consistent face on the SmackDown brand, just praying for the opportunity that has finally revealed itself.
It was announced on Tuesday afternoon that Bryan had finally been cleared for in-ring competition and could play a part in this year's WrestleMania.
Of course, Bryan was attacked by Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens at the end of SmackDown and left the arena on a stretcher, but he was finally able to wrestle in a ring again and he put up a good enough fight that many of the WWE Universe believe he could be setting up a tag team match against the duo at WrestleMania.
Matt Hardy (Raw)
Finally, after weeks of build-up, the WWE fans were able to bear witness to the spectacle that was the Ultimate Deletion. Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt put on a fantastic show in the main event of Monday Night Raw this week as Hardy finally defeated Bray following the distraction from Brother Nero.
Hardy hit the Twist of Fate before he then pushed the Eater Of Worlds into the Lake of Reincarnation and has now left the door open for Wyatt to be repackaged by WWE.
Hardy himself seems to have turned his attention to Michael Cole ahead of the biggest event of the year, which could be an interesting swerve.
Pete Dunne (NXT)
It was revealed earlier this week that Moustache Mountain wouldn't be able to compete in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic due to an injury to Tyler Bate, so Pete Dunne and Roderick Strong stepped up and took their place, easing past Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan and into the next round.
Dunne and Strong looked like a great fit as a team just a week after Strong saved Dunne from a beatdown against The Undisputed Era, and they could be looking at a tag team championship match if the duo is able to remain on the same page over the next few weeks.
Bad Week
Tye Dillinger (SmackDown)
Tye Dillinger was once one of the most popular stars in NXT but ever since 'The Perfect 10' moved up to the main roster he has been on a downward spiral.
Dillinger faced Baron Corbin this week since it was revealed that he and the former Mr Money In The Bank would be the first SmackDown entrants in the fifth Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania.
Corbin picked up the win in a match that saw Dillinger return to WWE TV for the first time in weeks, and there was a messy ending to the match, which could have ruined any plans WWE had for the former NXT star in the future.
Roman Reigns (Raw)
Roman Reigns' match at WrestleMania has already been revealed, but it seems that his opponent has been a no-show for the past few weeks, and finally this week Reigns was introduced to the man he will be standing across the ring from next month.
Of course, it wasn't a fair fight since Reigns had already been handcuffed and asked to leave the premises whilst he was under suspension. Reigns still attempted to put up a fight but was easily dominated by the Universal Champion.
Brock Lesnar was able to attack his No 1 contender and send him a message ahead of their match before pictures later surfaced online of his bruised hands after Raw. Could Reigns have bitten off more than he can chew?
Kassius Ohno (NXT)
Kassius Ohno was in the main event of NXT this week against Adam Cole, a match that he was always destined to lose since it seems that WWE is reluctant to put him in a decent position on NXT.
Ohno has already proven that he is a solid pair of hands in any match and can put on a show no matter who he is up against, but WWE has only been using him as an enhancement talent over the past few months.
Will Ohno ever be given the spotlight that he deserves or will he always be seen as the versatile star who the company can call upon when needed but never give a real push to?
