Brock Lesnar signs new WWE deal and Roman Reigns rematch is confirmed

Roman Reigns spoke about his admiration for Brock Lesnar prior to their WrestleMania match

Less than 24 hours after his successful Universal title defence at WrestleMania, Brock Lesnar has signed a new WWE contract.

It has also been confirmed that Lesnar's next scheduled appearance will be another title defence against Roman Reigns, in a steel cage match at the Greatest Royal Rumble event, which is live on Sky Sports Box Office on Friday, April 27.

The news ends several weeks of speculation that Lesnar would be making a return to UFC following the completion of his WWE contract and his WrestleMania duties.

He was photographed with UFC president Dana White at the time of the Royal Rumble pay-per-view in January and White was also in attendance in New Orleans on Sunday night.

Lesnar held the UFC heavyweight title for two years between 2008 and 2010 and has been the Universal champion in WWE since April 2017.
