WWE Champion AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura go to war in a ferocious No Disqualification Match.

Five WWE titles were on the line at the Backlash pay-per-view event, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

The main event of the night saw WWE champion AJ Styles take on Shinsuke Nakamura in a no disqualification match in which no hold was barred.

That led to several brutal moments as the action spilled out of the ring, with Styles shedding blood as he defended the title he has held for more than six months.

But the pair could still not be separated, and the match ended in a no contest when neither could answer a 10-count following mutual low blows.

Following her loss to SmackDown Women's Champion Carmella at WWE Backlash, Charlotte says Carmella won fair and square but vows to reclaim her thrown.

And Carmella remains both the Princess of Staten Island and of the blue brand after Flair tweaked her knee while landing and the champion took advantage.

In an excellent match, Seth Rollins retained the Intercontinental title after a high-octane with over The Miz.

Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn prove no match for the massive pairing of Braun Strowman & Bobby Lashley.

The A-lister almost had the match won when he slapped on a figure four leglock after Rollins had hurt his knee on the ringpost.

But the champion prevailed, producing a Stomp during a series of duelling roll-ups to secure a hard-earned win and keep the strap.

Another title remaining around the waist of its pre-event holder was the United States championship, which remains the property of Jeff Hardy.

He overcame Randy Orton in a Ruthless Aggression-era throwback match which ended with an Orton-style Twist of Fate out of nowhere, followed by a Swanton Bomb for the three-count.
