WWE Superstar Big Show reckons Shaquille O'Neal is "terrified" at the thought of facing him at WrestleMania 33.

The World's Largest Athlete has taken to Twitter to call out the basketball legend, who he clashed with during last year's Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32 in Texas.

O'Neal subsequently agreed to a one-on-one match when the two met at an awards ceremony over the summer but a much-rumoured bout in Orlando on April 2 is still to be confirmed.

And in an interview with WWE.com, Show said he believes the former Orlando Magic centre could be encountering second thoughts.

"I just get the feeling he's terrified," Show, who has shed the pounds in preparation for the match, said of O'Neal.

"He shot his mouth off, he's in over his head and he's trying to back out. So just let me know what's going on, brother.

"I see Shaq riding around, singing karaoke and stopping in at Krispy Kreme. I'm like, 'Hey! If you're not gonna take it serious, find something else to do!' If anything, talk a little trash. Let me know you're motivated.

"I've given 22 years of my blood, sweat and tears to this business and I'm doing this favour to Shaq.

"I don't have foot powder commercials, car commercials, insurance commercials. I get it. He's a busy man. [But] this could be my last WrestleMania. He needs to step up."

Discussing his dramatic weight loss, Show - who faced fellow WWE powerhouse Braun Strowman on Monday's episode of Raw - added: "It was definitely a conscious decision.

"You don't make the transformation I've made without a serious commitment to changing 40 years of improper diet and improper training.

"I wanted to make a change, and I was given the time and opportunity to make a change, so I took advantage of it.

"I'm not trying to build muscle right now, I'm trying to keep my metabolism up, keep my tendons strong, keep my joints good and cut a lot of fat.

"We'll get to the muscle-building end of it once I get my body fat down to where I want it to be - for me, the days of slammin' ice cream and enjoying pizza and meatball subs are gone.

"Will I end up ever looking like John Cena or The Rock or Triple H? No. But I can take the assets that I have and try to accentuate them.

"The main thing is... to try to be inspiring to others that want to make a change or don't believe they can make the change."
