South Africa all-rounder Wayne Parnell has signed a short-term deal to join Kent for the third time.

Parnell had two spells with the county in 2009 and will be available for Specsavers County Championship and Royal London One-Day Cup until required for international duty.

The 27-year-old has only played five Tests for South Africa but is a more of a regular member of their limited overs squad and has made a total of 100 appearances in one-day and Twenty20 internationals.
