Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk has been named the 2018-19 Premier League Player of the Season.
Van Dijk saw off competition from team-mates Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, Manchester City trio Sergio Aguero, Bernardo Silva and Raheem Sterling and Chelsea's Eden Hazard to claim the accolade.
The winner was decided by a combination of votes from fans via the EA SPORTS website, the captains of the 20 Premier League clubs and a panel of football experts.
On receiving the award, Van Dijk said: "It's a great honour and I'm very proud.
"Without everyone here at Liverpool, fans and players, it wouldn't be possible so I will definitely give them credit for all of it as well.
"I think the whole season in the Premier League has been outstanding.
"The only thing is we have been competing with another team that's pretty good. But I think it's a joy to watch, this title race, for neutral fans."
The Netherlands international has missed only 35 minutes of Liverpool's 37 matches before this season's finale at home to Wolves on Sunday, helping to register 20 clean sheets and scoring four goals.
His performances also earned him the PFA Players' Player of the Year honour last month and he inherits the award from Salah, who was named Premier League Player of the Season last term.
