Leicester are pushing for a quick deal to sign Youri Tielemans from Monaco, amid fears Manchester United and Tottenham may move for the midfielder, Sky Sports News understands.

The Foxes are wary of getting involved in a bidding war for the Belgium international, but are aware that his form while on loan at the King Power Stadium this season has attracted the attention of some of Europe's top clubs.

It is thought Tielemans is keen on a permanent move to Leicester and has been impressed by new manager Brendan Rodgers.

His parent club, Monaco, had Leicester's midfielder Adrien Silva on loan this season, and they are keen to make his deal permanent. But Sky Sports News understands that will not stop them seeking the best price they can for Tielemans.

In April, Rodgers said Leicester would "do everything they possibly can" to keep Tielemans.

But Tielemans is, at this moment, expecting to return to Monaco.

He told Belgian publication VTMNieuws: "I expect that I will return to Monaco in the summer, unless something's moving.

"At the moment there's nothing. If things are going well you want to keep it like that. I don't know what Monaco will be asking, so I can't talk about it."
