Scott Brash: I want to win everything!

The world No 1 showjumper speaks to Sky Sports ahead of this weekend's Geneva Grand Prix.

World No 1 showjumper, Olympic team gold medallist, one million Euro jackpot winner... There are not many things left on Scott Brash's bucket list.

Now, with his sights firmly set on individual gold in 2016, the 30-year-old from Peebles, Scotland is definitely one to watch on the road to Rio.

But before Brash embarks on his Olympic journey, there's a trip to Switzerland to consider, and a chance to continue his dominance in the Rolex Grand Slam of Showjumping.

On board top horse Hello Sanctos, who was recently inducted into the British Horse Society's Hall of Fame alongside his jockey, Brash has won the past three Rolex Grand Slam events to pick up the one million Euro bonus prize packet.

But how does it feel winning that much cash?

"It's a feeling I'll always have for the rest of my life," Brash told Sky Sports.

"It's something no other rider has ever done before and we could probably go 30-40 years and it would probably not be done again, and it was on the same horse [Hello Sanctos].

"It was just an incredible feeling when I won because I'd put all my sights, all my energy and all my efforts into that. It was what it was all about it for a long period of time. To win it was just extra special."

It's no surprise then that Brash is looking forward to returning to the location of his first Grand Slam win in Geneva almost exactly a year on. The indoor event, shown live on Sky Sports 5 from 12.55pm on Sunday, is a favourite with the riders on tour.

"CHI Geneva is an unbelievable show," Brash said.

"It's a very unique ring, it's a big ring with a unique atmosphere. It's a wonderful show to jump at and it's got to be one of my favourite indoor shows of the year, if not my favourite. It's a great event."

So what's left for the British superstar to win?

"I'd love to win the World Cup final and there are many Grands Prix I'd still love to win. But I just want to be at the top end of my sport for as long as I can and that's what I'm aiming and trying to do," he said.

"I'm quite greedy, I want to win everything. I'd love to win another team gold medal but I'd also love to win an individual gold [Olympic]. I've got my sights on that and I'm going to try my best to do it."

But what about the horse? Hello Sanctos has been one of the most reliable jumpers on the world stage for five years now. What does the future hold for the talented bay gelding?

"He's a horse of a lifetime and I'm privileged to be working with him. I don't think there'll be a horse quite like him," Brash added.

"We could go many many years without finding a horse like him again, but we'll keep trying to produce the next best horse.

"I may be a bit biased but I think he should be the best [in history]. His win ratio has got to be better than any other horse and I think that's what makes him the best, he's so consistent.

"He's very laid-back because he's knows he's good. He's got that bit of swagger about him."
