Carl Frampton is delighted to be voted best British world champion by Sky Sports readers but admits he'd have put Tyson Fury top of the pile.
The recently-crowned WBA Super featherweight world champion earned top spot in the poll in which almost 400,000 votes were cast.
We asked Sky Sports readers to pick the best fighter from Britain's 14 world champions.
Frampton edged Anthony Joshua for first place, with Kell Brook third, Anthony Crolla fourth and Fury in fifth place.
The Jackal was honoured to find out he came first but when asked who he would vote for - not including himself - the two-weight champion admits he would have opted for the 'Gypsy King'.
"Ant Crolla would have been in with a shout because of what he's done and how he did it and of course the back story. Obviously Joshua is appealing to the casuals and even though he's a world champion, we know there's more to come from AJ," he told Sky Sports.
"But it's hard to look past big Fury. He beat the man. He beat Klitschko and became the unified heavyweight champion of the world.
"Everyone likes him. He's a big character and although I don't know him personally, he's a good laugh and you have to laugh at some of the stuff he comes out with."
Frampton sealed his place at the top of the rankings, narrowly pipping Joshua as your best performer of the season.
The 29-year-old admits his sensational win over Leo Santa Cruz was the most recent involving Britain's fantastic 14, but was still pleased to top our poll.
"That's great, I am happy with that and it means a hell of a lot to me," he said.
"My win was probably fresh in people's memory because it just happened, so that will account for some of the votes, but so many people voting for me - with some great fighters in there like Tyson Fury and Kell Brook - that's nice."
Frampton's success means the featherweight division is one of four weights that now has two British fighters holding the recognised straps, with IBF champion Lee Selby already looking for a unification fight.
Joshua won the IBF heavyweight belt after Fury, who still holds the WBA Super and WBO, was stripped of the title. Manchester duo Crolla (WBA World) and Terry Flanagan (WBO) are lightweight world champions while Jamie McDonnell (WBA World) and Lee Haskins (IBF) are top dogs in the bantamweight division.
