Dillian Whyte was unimpressed with Joseph Parker's performance against Razvan Cojanu and predicts he would knock out the WBO champ if they fought.

Dillian Whyte is desperate to fight Joseph Parker and insists he would make light work of the WBO world heavyweight champion.

Whyte (20-1-KO15), who earned a narrow win over Dereck Chisora last December, returns to the ring against former world title challenger Mariusz Wach at London's O2 on June 3, live on Sky Sports.

But 'The Body Snatcher' has a world title shot against Parker in his sights, and says he was left distinctly unimpressed by the Kiwi's points win against Romanian Razvan Cojanu in Manukau City on Saturday.

"If I fight Joseph Parker I believe I will knock him out and become the WBO champion," Whyte told Sky Sports.

"I say that from my heart and from deep in my soul. I honestly believe that. I will knock Joseph Parker out and become WBO champion. I don't see anything there that worries me at all. Nothing.

"Joseph Parker is a big fish in a small pond. He has said he wants to come to the UK and make a name for himself so I think I'm the perfect fight for him."

Ahead of the first defence of his WBO title, Parker (23-0-KO18) said he planned to head overseas, having fought just three times outside of New Zealand during his career.

Tony Bellew has also been mooted as a prospective opponent for the Auckland-born fighter but Whyte says 'The Bomber' must wait in line, and accused the Liverpudlian of running scared of him.

"I'm trying to take one fight at a time but all I'm seeing right now is a Joseph Parker fight, to be honest," Whyte said.

"People keep talking about Joseph Parker vs Tony Bellew but they need to forget that, it's [all about] Joseph Parker vs Dillian Whyte.

"I've tried to get a fight with Tony Bellew, he doesn't want it. Tony Bellew doesn't want to fight a proper heavyweight.

"They need to forget about Tony Bellew - push him to the back of the queue.

"Me vs Joseph Parker is the only fight the UK fans want to see right now. Look at social media, that's all they are talking about, Dillian Whyte vs Joseph Parker."
