Sam Eggington would take Jeff Horn fight 'tomorrow'

Sam Eggington would jump at the chance to take on Jeff Horn after watching the Australian beat Manny Pacquiao.
The Brisbane welterweight produced one of the shocks of recent times, out-pointing the eight-division world champion to become the WBO world champion at 147lbs.
Despite being only 23, recently crowned European champion Eggington wants to continue his rapid rise up the rankings and 'The Savage' would take on Horn in a heartbeat.
Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: "Horn is a good fighter and is like me in a way. He is tough, does everything well and is busy in the ring - it works for him. I wouldn't say he is anything special.
"I'd take that fight tomorrow if I could, it would be a great little scrap and a lot of people have told me that they would love to see it. I'm sure I'm not the only one targeting him though.
"I did have 'Pac-Man' winning by two or three rounds, but it was close and I don't think it was a robbery like people are saying.
"He has a rematch clause and I think Pacquiao will take it, he doesn't need it though. If he loses again it really will tarnish what he has achieved, but he could come back and totally destroy him, it all depends what he's got left."
The Stourbridge fighter is hopeful of returning to the ring as soon as possible, but is yet to have an opponent or date confirmed.
He continued: "I'm hoping to return in September and I'm happy to fight anyone that is put in front of me.
"The plan is to defend one of my titles and continue to push on.
"People are saying that I need to take my time and learn, but they've been saying that since I first won the British and Commonwealth titles.
"I'm high in the rankings with the WBC and IBF so let's aim for the top. It doesn't matter who the champion is, I'll get in the ring with them."
