Amir Khan's big move, George Groves' return and one expensive question to Floyd Mayweather. Here's Jamie Moore...

Kell Brook says it's a smart move - but his rival will lose to Saul Alvarez

Is fighting Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez a good move for Amir Khan?

It is, although not from our point of view as Kell Brook v Amir Khan is a massive fight for British fight fans.

From Khan's perspective, it's a big ask for him to beat Canelo but if he can pull it off then it's a huge win that could open so many doors for him.

Jamie Moore says it might be a gamble, but what tactics can Amir Khan adopt against Canelo?

Financially, it's probably going to be worth more to him and - even if he loses - the possibility of fighting Kell Brook will still be there afterwards. I think it's a gambling worth taking for Khan.

Where does the confirmation of that fight leave Gennady Golovkin?

It means that Golovkin fighting the likes of Billy Joe Saunders or Chris Eubank Jr could happen sooner. There was also Dominic Wade mentioned the other day, who looks like he is going to step in as IBF mandatory.

From our point of view, any of the leading middleweights - and certainly Saunders is right up there - are in with a shout of getting the Golovkin fight now, as long as they don't want too much money.

You're going to get well paid for fighting Golovkin but as long as he doesn't ask for stupid money, I think the chance might come to Saunders. The same goes for Eubank Jr and Andy Lee.

Were you impressed by George Groves' comeback?

George Groves produced a dominant fifth-round stoppage win over Andrea Di Luisa

I thought he looked sharp and did what he had to do. I didn't think much of Andrea Di Luisa but you can only beat what has been put in front of you. George looked fluent and looked like he was putting his punches together. I think the link up with Shane McGuigan has done him good.

I don't share the views of some that his stance has got wider. His stance has always been very wide - even when he boxed on the back foot to beat James DeGale all those years ago. He still had the stance then and was still very mobile. I don't think it's an issue. It's just part of his style and I don't think you'll be able to change it.

What did you make of the Sergey Kovelev-Adonis Stevenson antics?

I thought it was funny. The interview in the ring after the fight was entertaining. Kovalev looks like a beast at light-heavyweight and to be honest, I don't think anybody is going to be able to stop him. The way he went about beating Jean Pascal was in second gear. He said afterwards he could've finished him earlier but didn't want to, and it definitely had that look about it. He was toying with him and wanted to inflict pain. That nasty streak in someone who can fight like Kovalev is dangerous.

Stevenson is a different kettle of fish. He's a southpaw and will make Kovalev think when he's coming in. He can punch too but I wouldn't be surprised if Kovalev beat him up in six rounds.

It's one of those rumours going round that Floyd Mayweather will charge four figures to ask him a question. What would your question be?

Can I borrow £20?

I've not heard that and I think the idea is ridiculous. It puts the person on a pedestal. Why would he want to charge people that much to ask him a question? It's just manipulating people because he knows he has got a lot of fans all over. People could end up in debt because they're such big Mayweather fans and will pay it.
