Spinner believes world's Test teams are catching up

India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh believes Australia are no longer the force they once were in the Test arena. The world's number one team suffered their first Test series defeat at home for nearly 16 years at the hands of South Africa on Tuesday. Having lost 2-0 in India as well during their October-November tour the world champions' position at the top of the Test rankings is beginning to look precarious. Defeat in the third and final Test in Sydney would end Australia's 13-year reign at the top of the standings and Harbhajan, for one, is delighted. "I think they concentrate a lot on talking when other teams concentrate on the game and getting the basics right," Harbhajan said. "I always believed any team can beat Australia. It's not that they are superior to other teams or that they are world powers. "Other teams are getting better and it's nice to see people dominating them." Given the player's history with Australia, Harbhajan's words are sure to provide extra motivation for Ricky Ponting's troops ahead of the final Test at The SCG on Friday.
