England and Durham seamer Liam Plunkett is set to return home from the tour of Bangladesh due to injury.
The 24-year-old, who bowled just two overs in the one-day series and has played no part in either Test match against the Tigers, has been experiencing discomfort in his right elbow.
He will leave the tour on Wednesday morning, the fifth day of the second Test, and will receive medical advice upon his return to England.
The complaint is not thought to be serious and he may still play for Durham in the county curtain-raiser against the MCC in Abu Dhabi next week - a match played for the first time with pink balls and under floodlights.
